How the Google AI estimate is counted

Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode send visitors to your site the same way an ordinary Google result does, so Lantern can't tell those visits apart. This counts the search visits that landed on a page Google's AI cited for your tracked prompts in the same period. Some may have come from the AI answer, some from the ordinary results beside it, and some from other search engines, so read it as a guide, not a count. These visits stay in Search and are not part of your AI visits.
