Crawl Accessibility

Crawl Accessibility measures how easily AI systems can discover and access your website's content. If AI can't reach your pages, it can't recommend your products.

What goes into this

  • Sitemap quality — whether you have a complete, up-to-date XML sitemap
  • Robots.txt configuration — whether your robots.txt allows AI crawlers to access important pages
  • Page load and accessibility — whether your pages load reliably and return proper HTTP status codes

Why it matters

This is the foundation — if AI crawlers can't access your product pages, nothing else matters. Some sites accidentally block AI crawlers in their robots.txt, have broken sitemaps, or serve different content to bots than to humans. Any of these issues can make your brand invisible to AI assistants.

What you can do

Ensure your XML sitemap is complete and submitted to search engines. Check that your robots.txt doesn't block AI user agents (like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, or Google-Extended). Verify that your pages return proper 200 status codes and load within a reasonable time.
