Page Organization
Page Organization measures how well-structured your pages are for AI systems to parse and understand. Well-organized pages are easier for AI to extract useful information from.
What goes into this
- Heading hierarchy — whether your headings follow a logical order (H1 then H2 then H3, without skipping levels)
- Lists and tables — whether product specs and comparisons use structured formats instead of paragraphs
- Content-to-structure ratio — whether your pages have enough meaningful content relative to their HTML structure
Why it matters
AI assistants extract information from your pages by following their structure. A page with a clear heading hierarchy, bulleted spec lists, and comparison tables is far easier for AI to parse than a wall of text. When AI can quickly find and extract the right information, it's more likely to use your content in its recommendations.
What you can do
Ensure each page has exactly one H1, with H2s for main sections and H3s for subsections — never skip levels. Convert product specifications from paragraphs into bulleted lists or tables. Add comparison tables to category pages so AI can easily compare your products.
