Journeys

A journey is one visitor's path through your site after arriving from an AI assistant: the pages they saw, in order, and how it ended.

How to read this page

The chart shows where journeys go, stage by stage. Every journey starts at an assistant and lands on one page. Most stop there. The ones that continue move right, and the chart narrows at each step because fewer visitors reach it. Checkout sits at the far right.

Below the chart, journeys are grouped by how far they got. Reached checkout means a checkout page was opened or an order was placed. Looked around means two or more pages were read without reaching checkout. Landed and left means the first page was the last.

Outcome is a separate question from distance. Bought means a purchase your pixel saw. May return means the visitor has left but is still inside the window where a return counts as the same journey. Ended means that window has passed with no return.

What the numbers leave out

Each group lists its most travelled shapes, not every journey. The line above the list says how many of the group's journeys those shapes cover. When it covers only some, the rest took rarer routes through your site, and a shorter date range brings more of them into view.
